Practice strategies for being able to regulate emotions.
Work through traumatic experiences you may have experienced.

I take the time to ask you what you need in your space to feel comfortable to support you creating a soothing environment. This might mean having a soft blanket or dim lights. I’ll also provide you with reassurance that your emotions and sensitivity are valid and welcome in the therapy space.
